Account data: When you register, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. Your password is stored as a cryptographic hash — we never see your plain-text password.

Usage data: We may collect data about how you interact with BlockBabe, including pages visited and features used, to improve our service.

Watchlist & Portfolio: Coins you add to your watchlist or portfolio are stored to provide you with your personalized dashboard.

Price alerts: We store your price alert preferences to send you notifications when conditions are met.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and improve BlockBabe services; send transactional emails (account verification, welcome emails, price alerts); and ensure security and prevent fraud. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Email Communications

We use Brevo (formerly SendinBlue) as our email service provider. By creating an account, you consent to receiving transactional emails. You may close your account at any time to stop all communications.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: CoinMarketCap (live crypto data), Unsplash (blog images), NewsAPI (news data), Anthropic Claude API (blog content generation). Each has their own privacy policy.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your Dashboard → Settings, which permanently removes all associated data.
